The Miglianico Golf Club is the first
golf course in the Abruzzo Region.
Both our Farm Holiday and the sea are 3,5 km. away; it is 30 km. from the Majella.
It is near the Airport of Abruzzo and the A14 and A25 motorway and it is therefore strategically placed where the main tourist destinations are.
Golf can be played all the year thanks to its mild climate.
The technical features of this Golf Course, planned by Ronald Kirby, can satisfy any level of player, from the beginner to the expert.
THE COURSE IS MUCH VARIED; IT WINDS AMONG NARROW FAIRWAYS, BUNKERS AND OUTSIDE LIMITS POSITIONED IN A STRATEGIC WAY.
THE COURSE IS NOT PUNITIVE BUT THE ACCURACY IS OBLIGATORY.
THE GREENS ARE WELL PROTECTED BUT THEY ARE RATHER FLAT.
THE 2ND HOLE IS THE MOST DIFFICULT. IT’S A PAR 4 OF 393 MT. IT IS UPHILL WITH A DOG LEG ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THE BUNKER DEFENDS THE ARRIVAL TO THE GREEN.
THIS GREEN IS PARTICULARLY NARROW AND IT IS ENCIRCLED BY OUTSIDE LIMIT.
IN THE COURSE THERE ARE A LOT OF WATER OBSTACLES PUT BESIDE THE FAIRWAYS AND SOME GREENS ARE SURROUNDED BY THEM.
